Jackfish Lake

Cold morning fishing with the heater cutting in and out. Good day all in all, couple nice pike and a few eyes. Have to remember the power auger next time as the ice is getting thicker. Never iced fished this lake before but it was a fun day and I for sure will go back.

Which Jackfish is this? The one west of Stony Plain?

I to was at jackfish today looking for perch, but found none. Seen a couple pike go by the camera. There was a good ft of ice with 8 inches of snow on top .

I was going to fish Jackfish today but decided to try Mayatan instead. That was a huge mistake because sounds like you did a lot better than I did! 2 small jack in about 4.5 hrs fishing, couldn't find any perch.
