Big ram like that, I'd be guessing but I'd say 250 pounds...maybe a bit more.

That ram that was pictured in the whitecourt FW office.... Did anyone ever get a text of the score on him? To me he looks like a solid 195 at least.

I know of a few good rams taken this year. The ram pictured I'm pretty sure from all accounts was shot by the auctioned Minister's tag. But yep, a few pretty good rams were taken from the sounds of it.

My personal opinion says the harvested ram is much deeper curled that the live ram pictured. The live ram appears to have a tight curl above the jaw line.

Am I missing something here?

Ah ok....I had heard rumors that the auction tag holder was from Whitecourt. My original thought was 438 resident tag. Either way, very cool!

I had a pic of the ram in whitecourt FW office on my camera, I compared it to the ram pictured live. I believe you are correct rackmastr they are the same ram. There is chip out of his right horn near the base and there is a double growth ring on the right horn just down from the tip. There is also kind of a scratch looking mark coming out the next growth ring just below it. Both rams have these markings on the right horn. I would say same ram also.

Not 100% sure if this is the same ram in 2010, but looks like it to me.
Congrates to the lucky hunter. I heard measurement of 14 2/8 for the bases and 44 on the long 41 4/8 on the other side. WOW...
