Ice conditions at Slave or Wabasca ???

Just wondering if any AO folks have ventured up north, and have ice reports for the area?? Any one been to Utikama?? Long ways to go when a vehicle is needed to get around on the lake. Any info would be great.

Slave was completely froze over end of November when I drove by it. There were a few shacks out at Joussard around that time as well. Not sure what the condition are there now, I never ventured that way my last trip to the area. As for Wabasca or Utikima I couldn't say, but if I had to geuss, I'd say there's good ice around the shore, but not too sure what the middle is like. Had many weeks of steady cold before this warm weather moved in up north, but also have had a considerable amount of snow in the western parts, not so much in the central area but still a fair bit.

I was told on the weekend that utikama has a shack on it. Not sure of ice thickness though.
