fun fishing for kids?

i'm trying to get my 7&9 year old sons into fishing, so far they like it but i've taken them 3 times now and haven't caught a single fish.

i was wondering if anybody could help me with a spot and maybe even a technique so they can actually catch some fish.

Well I would suggest the Strathmore childrens pond (AKA Kinsmen Park). They just stocked it with a bunch of rainbows and I went there for a couple of hours yesterday and caught 4. Wish i had my fly rod with me because when the bite was on they were rising big time for the mosquitos. Another good place for steady action but is a little further is Chain Lakes which is about an hour south on the #2 highway.
