Ladder stand

anyone use one of those tripod ladder stands they sell at Cabellas?http://www.cabelas.ca/index.cfm?pageID=71&&section=1190&section2=1327&ID=40182

I am wondering how sturdy / safe they are as a free standing unit.

We have 2 of the Big Game brand tripod stands, but not the Persuit 12', we went one bigger, the Triumph 16'. Better cross bracing, but it's required for sure. And we got them with the camo blind fabric kits too.
Nice swivel seats and blind kit covers up to your shoulders apprx.
A bit lite in the ladder steps IMO, rated for 250 lb.
