I had this sent to me by a co-worker. It was sent to her by her uncle

"We have this cowboy friend who took this picture on his cell phone, he was hunting moose by ManningAB. He said he was about 300 yards away from the wolves. He works riding the range every summer on community pastures and said he'd seen packs of 11 and 13 before. No wonder there was no moose around!"

No idea if its true or an internet rumour............

My bad, the last time I saw this I thought it was from down in Montana in the park where they relocated all the wolves to....

Cool Pic. Even if it was taken in the states. Sure wish I was sitting on that hill when they came by. Judging by the depth of snow, a guy could probably drop a few before they all got away.

I was hunting near Manning, actually just west of Northstar, in September. My buddy had 11 wolves right in front of him.... 30 feet away growling at him on a river bank. They are there !! ( not the pictured ones though)
The next day I shot a black one sneaking up along a river bed trying to get a closer look at me.
