Maybe he knows something we don't!? If they are going on for $600 they'll be flying off the shelf. I know I'll be all over them at that price.

sorry my bad it's $699. I found afew sites in the US that had them down to $599 but the shipping was $150 plus so no win yet.

Don't forget the additional warranty prices.

My Marcum LX5 was $550 then the warranty was around $150. Total price came to around $720ish with the taxes.

This was a special warranty, told me if me dog chewed on It they would replace it etc.

Sounds like its worth it then ! A pike can destroy a transducer in a hurry !

Considering that the price is the same at the fishin hole, I would buy at the fishin hole.

I got mine at TFH Boxing Day sale for $620 and that's the cheapest I've seen it anywhere. I thought it was still kind of a raw deal though because their "catalog" price is $780 this is what they based their 20% discount on. They already had the price dropped down to $700 as the regular price before the sale to match Cabelas and WSS. It's all good though because I'd still rather deal with TFH than the other 2.

Yes but I have been to WSS and they will price match on most items. I went to get a new set of teeth for my Jiffy and the WSS wanted 89 bucks for them but the fishing hole was 20 bucks less, Mike at the fishing counter checked the price on line at TFH and called to check to see if they had it in stock and he matched the price. The big difference between WSS and TFH comes with service after the fact. WSS won't help you out very often, just ask WayneChristie about that. TFH is always willing to help itch service after you've taken the item home.

That is the point exactly. Everything I have looked at in the WSS has been 10-20% more. Before you buy there you have to price match.

Just got my LX-7 before xmas and took it out with me to Sask. This unit is unreal, I would have paid double for it. Where ever you get it you will be amazed by it!!! My dad has the hummingbird and bros has a vex and they both said they are going to now get the LX-7. One down side was when i was fishing with my bro the Vex and Marcum had some interference. However the hummingbird and the LX-7 didn't. Weird.... On the up side we caught 30 to 40 walleye a day and had a blast!!! Biggest was a 8lb wally caught by my brother 7yr old son using the LX-7 (yes he knows how to use it), the smile on his face was worth every penny.

I bought the vx-1pro for $270 at wholesale sports last year. I find it works really well. Im not too sure how it compares to the more expensive ones?
