I'm headed to Sundre over the holidays and I want to go fishing. I've checked the area out on google maps, but all I seen was a small pond called Bentz Lake oh and that little river running through Sundre. So anyone down south there know of a place to fish, around Sundre. It would be even better if I could catch Perch or something the kids could have fun with.

Cheers and Merry Christmas

Burnstick is great for kids , lots of perch . Shoot me a pm over the hols as I will make at least on trip to there over the festive week . I would be more than willing to help put you on fish and show you my set ups. Driving on should be doable with the coming cold snap. If burnstick is slow I have a back up spot near by moving with smaller perch suitable for kids.

I wouldn't even go to Burnstick! I ws there with my nephew for 9 hours yesterday and we hiked all over the place shallow and deep.We drilled a total of 35 holes fished and had the camera down, we didn't even see one fish, wow what a dead lake! Never again!!!

A thread search would have helped . If you ever get over your anger at the lake pm and I will put you on fish promise.
