Canada in the Rough™ lands on both feet with more viewer availability than ever!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Peterborough, ON Following the controversial decision by SHAW Media to drop all hunting shows from the weekend outdoor block on Global, Canada in the Rough, Canada's Most-Watched Hunting Documentary Television Show has bounced back with a purpose. Beasley Brothers Outdoors Inc., producers of the multi-award winning production are pleased to announce that Canada in the Rough will now be found on 7 networks across Canada and one in the United States of America.
Canada in the Rough will now be found on The Sportsman Channel in the United States and on the following networks in Canada: OLN (Outdoor Life Network), Sun News, WildTV, CHEX, Ch12 Durham, CKWS, and for the first time ever, Canada in the Rough will be translated into French and aired on RDS (French equivalent to TSN, owned by Bell Media) for the francophone viewers.
"When Global announced their unfortunate decision we recognized that this was going to change the game in Canada." remarked Kevin Beasley, Co-Host of Canada in the Rough. "Being confronted with this situation really made us stop and analyze the landscape and open our minds to new ideas."
"Instead of having one or two main destinations for viewers to find the show, we set out to make it available and accessible to the entire continent and we've done just that now with prime weekend morning and evening airings as well as prime weekday evening airings spread across 8 networks!" declared Keith Beasley, Co-Host of Canada in the Rough.
"We are thrilled to be bringing a great line-up of new episodes to Season 9 in January and appreciate the support of our premiere sponsors that make Canada in the Rough possible. And let's not forget the viewersthank you for watching and please be sure to find us on our new homes beginning in January!" concluded Paul Beasley, Co-Host of Canada in the Rough.

We take our cameras across our vast and wondrous land to bring you a hunting experience you won't find anywhere else. Canada in the Rough is as unpredictable as the hunts it documents. Each week we feature an extraordinary hunt for a different game species. Each episode strives to educate, inform, and entertain through a unique balance of a hunting experience combined with both the human and biological interactions with the species we are hunting.
