Dam Moose!!!

Well I went to a new spot today coyote hunting, as i got setup for my first set 10 seconds of calling up jumps a cow moose about 50 feet away!!

So im sittin in waist deep snow and this moose is walking closer and closer....about 25 feet and snorting so im like WTH....I turn the call off and she walks away:thinking-006: I could not run if i had to in the deep snow...lol

I turn the call on again and up she comes again....even closer... this time I jump up and yell at her she just stands there snorting.....Then a Coyote comes out of the bush and stops a 200 yards and I have a clear shot so I let one fly at the coyote but I missed:angry3:

After the shot up stands two calf moose....So I now know why she was acting the way she was....Protective mama!!!

Eventualy the three moose wander off and I go and check for blood from the coyote ...not a drop, but he did get a hair cut...lol

The only day I dont have my gopro!!
