drove by this water on sat. and saw a few people out fishing it....never knew it was there and was wondering if it was worthwhile going there and what is in it....just looking for a place for kids or to take the fly rod and belly boat.
pm me with any info.

I have mostly ice fished at Langdon (Dalemead Reservoir) and caught mostly small pike. I have heard that it is a good place to fly fish for jack right after the ice comes off.

Dalemead res. has pike, perch, burbot and the odd large trout that comes in from the canal. Once caught a massive whitefish by the outlet on the east side.I found the best fishing to be on the west side where the canal enters the res.Wid drained it almost dry a few years ago leaving many fish stranded in small pools just before freeze-up so I'm not sure what the fishing is like now
