I have mostly ice fished at Langdon (Dalemead Reservoir) and caught mostly small pike. I have heard that it is a good place to fly fish for jack right after the ice comes off.

Dalemead res. has pike, perch, burbot and the odd large trout that comes in from the canal. Once caught a massive whitefish by the outlet on the east side.I found the best fishing to be on the west side where the canal enters the res.Wid drained it almost dry a few years ago leaving many fish stranded in small pools just before freeze-up so I'm not sure what the fishing is like now
