went out to lake xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx with brother in law last weekend and caught 63 trout. today 32 with the largest at 15.5 15 14.5 inches. Im curious to see what the average lengths everyone is catching in alberta reguarding trout?

In the last week, the largest bow was 51cm and the smallest maybe 30cm.

Lost some bigger and smaller.

Saw one Moby that might have broken double digits.

so far my smallest bow has been 15 inches and my biggest was around 20 inche area

Average size depends on the type of lake really ........High catch rates on bows, like the 63 in one day - smells like Chain Lakes or Carson.

Unfortunately, the average size for both those lakes is about 12"-13" so those sizes are quite respectable.

You might find a few places with some bigger bows 18"-24", but catching 63 in one day isn't possible unless the stars are in alignment.

Here is a pic of some trout I caught last week. The smallest was 12" and largest was just 201/4" Caught here in Alberta from a reservoir.

Lots of trout in this little reservoir most are in the 12" range.
