Well I got my sheep back a week ago and it's on the wall. I'd like to thank Lyle Mclellan of Mclellan Taxidermy of Grand Forks for doing such a great job and having it back before Christmas to boot.Hope the photo shows up this time.

It's my "man cave" in progress. Will do justice to the bighorn and his companions soon.

I wanna see it. Bring it over and we can compare seeing as they basically came off of the same mountain.:)

Hawken & Grizzly Adams....front room is not an option, besides, the basement will be nicer than the living room soon and I'll be spending my free time there, in front of a big, new TV, right next to the wine room.
Backpackhunter & Rackmaster....Yep, fast turnaround 'cause we got them in quick as the taxidermist and tannery weren't busy and we'd fleshed them out real well.
.300Utlramag....traditional in the sense of a stainless, synthetic .300 Win mag with BDC scope. When we started applying, 15 years ago, we'd planned on bowhunting only as that's how we've got our other sheep and goats, but 15 years does things to the body that cuts down the opportunities one can create. Another thing was the availability of legal rams - I think there were more back then and a lot less pressure and we would have had the same opening day as residents. Long story short, we are not what we used to be, but we were looking forward to the bow-only season in 410 if this trip wasn't successful.
Thanks everyone and have a Great Christmas.
