Exactly, why wouldn't you just take it home and then post it here to let the guy know you have his auger?
What are the chances some jerk read your post and high-tailed it out there to grab it before anyone else did?

I wished I would of grabbed it and left a note or something. I guess I expect people to be a little more honest........it was about an 82 - 85 sky blue 2 door ford. Guy drove straight to it grabbed it threw it in his truck and drove away.

I wouldn`t feel too bad about it....crappy thing to observe but you aren`t the one who left it behind.

Sad thing is now you cannot leave anything sitting around without someone swiping it.....used to be able to forget things and find them exactly where you left them.
