Just bought a 6 mm Remington and am wondering if there are any pet loads out there.
Figure I will be using it for coyotes and deer, some beaver and occasional gopher.. Just for fun!
I know you can get the 57 grain bullets all the way to 105 for deer.
It is a 600 Mohawk with a 1 in 10 twist.
Thanks in advance

hornady 75 gr hollow points are going to be very accurate out of it. choices of powder from varget to imr 4831. have fun ,, great rifle to shoot and extremely accurate.

I have wanted a 600 Mohawk for a long time so hope it is everything I expect. Sweet little gun!
I lost 4 calves on pasture this year and seem to have a bit of a wolf issue so hoping this 6 mm will do a great number on them

With Great Ease, i use my 6mms on deer moose and elk with out issue, a wolf would be a cake walk, the mohawk 6mm is a actually fairly rare there were only I believe 250 to 300 in production,, so the it is quite rare.

My cousin has a Mohawk in 6 mm Remington and that is where I fell in lust with it. Took me quite awhile to find to find this one... It has been customized ind is really done nice.

Humm... That is really a screw up!
Sorry but dam I'm glad it happened.. Lol
Haven't shot it yet, waiting for a good day.
I put a vortex 6.5 - 20 on it and it is looking good
If it shoots like it looks it will be great

With a 1 in 10 twist rate you will likely find 95gr and under bullets to shoot best for accuracy. If it was 1 in 8 then 100 and up would work as well.

Been shootn hundred grains for 30 + years out of mine and no issue, even the 105's work well.

My 240wby doesn't like the heavier bullets with the 1 in 10 twist...shoot what ever works :)

Thats a definate, out of the 7 or 8 6mm's i have owned they have all shot very well,,even right down to the 788 i took my buck with this fall,, my best though was my m77 ruger in 6mm was the most accurate,,1 ragged hole at a hundred, have a rem 700 60 -70s vintage that should give it a run for its money tho lol.

You will love that 6mm Mohawk. My dad bought me one 32 years ago and it's still in beautiful shape and shoots well. I had a guy load me some bullets and I believe they are 87 grain loads and seem to work well for deer and coyotes. Fun times.
