Thanks, I didn't even feel it and I shot twice. First time shooting that big of a gun.

Congrats;
Seems like you never feel the kick when shooting at an animal, atleast nothing like the kick that registers with a person at the range...lol.

I have never felt the recoil from my .338 in the field ............ same can't be said for anything on the receiving end.

Congrats on the bull. Kind of the perfect size in my books. Big enough you get a decent amount of meat, and young enough to be nice and tender.

Hi, congratulations on a nice moose. Did you get it in 332? I met you guys out there south of Buck Lake a few years ago while I was standed on a lease road. We were in the middle of making a push on a moose.

Nice animal!
Newb question here: how much does a .338 win mag chew up the inside of a moose?

I shot it in the lungs and only lost about 2 ribs, didnt chew it up at all.
I think shot placement is always the key!
