I haven't been this winter. But I wouldn't worry about catching. Anyone can limit there any day of the year.

That's good to know. SD and I are C+R fisherman so we never really 'limit out" technically speaking. Nor do we ever limit out as in catching and releasing our limit of trout. Well, maybe we have caught and released 5 trout each a time or two but not all that often.

If anyone wants to PM me some tips or pointers, it would be much appreciated.

If you aren't there just for your limit, you will catch a ton of fish if you spend the day.
