I was looking into getting a sitka jacket. Got a pair of timberline pants fo christmas and was looking to get a matching jacket for the open country pattern. How is the jetstream ? anyone have the strom front?

I know a few guys that have the Jetstream jacket… incredible jacket! I have heard nothing but good things about the Jetstream jacket. Either that or the 90% jacket. The Jetstream jacket has Gore Windstopper in it though. I will be buying a Jetstream for next fall because of the good things I’ve heard!

I have the timberline pants and the 90% jacket. They go together nicely!

I run the jetstream and love it. Also the jetstream vest. Early season I just wear a zip-t and the vest.

I liked the jet stream. Another good option to look at is KUIU. Since switching to that, I have not used my Sitka once....

Anyone layer up a stratus pant jacket combo with a kevlin jacket? If so how did it work. im not a hugh fan of the zipper on the fanatic thats why this combo interests me for late season stuff.
I use a merino base layer, traverse hoody and Kelvin lite and thats all I have needed. I use mine for bird hunting, as long as I'm moving I am comfortable in -30 with just those. In anything less than -20 I'm usually unzipping.
I couldn't imagine an outer jacket on top of it.
