Hey I was just wondering if anybody's driven on ghost recently or what the current ice conditions are? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

I could be mistaken, but I've always been nervous about reservoirs and would never drive on one. You don't know how much the water has been drawn down under the ice. Ghost feeds a hydro-electric generation plant, no?

But makes for some great business for those recovery people out there.

I imagine more than a few, last year when I got my boat, we found one that makes a wonderful fish reef.

Guys are driving on at the bridge by the campground... Not the smartest bunch, but they're doing it.

Thanks for the feedback. I may wait a bit longer before driving on to play it safe.

Driving on too early or late in the season, stupid. Driving on Ghost:

Ghost currently has 17" of ice and I was driving on the ice today. If you plan of driving on the ice this is a great place. Fishing on the other hand, you can do better.

Drive on the ice at your own risk. Always test the ice you plan on driving on.
