heading out to lac. st anne sat morning to try and fill some walleye tags with a fellow ao member. not sure where we'll end up but we'll have an atv and large tent so drop by and say hi if your out there. in the summer he won a large ice cream cone from me by catching the first fish and tomorrow i hope to get revenge (and a hot choclatte) by being first.

Was at the boat ramp today(friday)@ approx 4 pm for a look see.About 8 tents at the ramp.Quite a bit of snow so a quad might be tough going.All the best tomorrow.

They do have Chocolate ! But do they service ice cream in winter ?
Could not tell you that. The store is across the street from the boat launch and about 3-4doors east right beside the parking lot on the corner.

Was out thee today. Lots of snow made it tough going with the quad. I was west of Alta Beach along the weeds between the community and the campground/mission. Ice was 10". Drove through one wet spot but no flood water where I was sitting.

No idea what color they are biting on cause I didn't catch any. Was late in the day by the time I got out there and with the deeper snow I never made it out to the area I want to be at. Was still happy to actually get out though so am not complaining.

I did but some chains on the honda,I should be ok since I m bring Waterninja along to push this twisted old fart acrossthe lake .

We had a real good day on the lake ,started off slow until we moved into shallow water.
The colour of choice was a Red jig head at Lake X :sHa_shakeshout: for pike & walleyes
Only seen one Whitefish at Lac Ste Anne.
