Lawrence Lake

Anyone tried fishing this lake recently? I used to have some good success for perch before the last winterkill about 8 years ago.

Heard of some guys catching some decent size Pike last winter...the perch were a little smaller 8-9"...I'm sure the bigger ones are there...I imagine there is a crazy overflow as Ghost a few miles south had about 4-6" of water 10 days ago...

I fished it a couple years after the winterkill and it was coming back nicely, I'd imagine it is doing well at this point. I also think that with all this snow and flood water, coupled with good fish populations, theres a good chance that some of these lakes are going to winterkill again this winter. I'm making a point of hitting some of the smaller lakes that have fished well for me in the last few years as it might be my last chance for a little while, Lawrence lake is on that list.
