Hey there wondering if anyone would be interested in going in a heli fishing trip end of June early July? The lodge is located in the north west corner of bc and we would be targeting massive spring salmon!! It is a wonderful remote place and the fishing is unbelievable for the experienced or the beginner! Pm me if you would be interested.
Cheers ram

North west corner of BC? How dark would those fish be, i'd think the fish would be travelling a long distance in freshwater by the time they reach that area.

$4000 per person for 6 days everything is included transport from whitehorse, guides, gear, rods lodging amazing food and world class fishing. In the past we have averaged 12-40 fish per day and average size is 25-30 with a few a trip in the 40-50 lb range!! These fish are bullets as they don't have to come far from the ocean the trout fishing is just a bonus too some HUGE rainbows and great dollies

Sounds like an interesting trip. If I didn't already have some big trips planned I would be interested. For heli fishing in NW BC this is a great price for a week.

That sounds like an awesome time! I'd have the biggest S**t eating grin trying to fight a 40-50lb salmon on a fly rod

There's some big Dollies in the NE of BC. Photo of one in Ft. Nelson that has to be pushing 25lbs. Last time I was through Dease Lake heard of someone catching a 40lb pike in the river that morning too.
