moonshine lake

I am looking for information about the fishing in Mooshine lake, north of Spirit River.I am taking my grandson and hope to see him catch a couple of trout, any help with what to use would be appreciated.

I only fished moonshine once and that was about 5 years ago.
We had fun catching 14-16 inchers but holy crap..

That water was dank and smelly..what's up with that?
