Perch fishing close to Cold Lake

Hi there, I am looking for a good lake to go perch fishing that is fairly close to Cold Lake and is safe to drive on with my diesel truck with a trailer style shanty. Plan on going New years day. Has anyone been on Manotoken lake yet?

Yes was there yesterday ice is right around a foot thick,,lots of trucks driving on there, fishing was slow though more guys were fishing on south side

Was up at cold lake a few days ago then went to moose there was at least a foot and a half on moose I don't know how there perch fishing is there we were going for pike and walleyes tried perch fishing for ten mins and I think I hooked into a white but lost it
