Jackfish lake burbot by carvel

Has anyone had luck catching any there would like to try some night fishing for them one night if anyone has se info that would be great thanks

i honestly have never fished past dusk. are fish more active at night?

havent fishing Jackfish for a few years now. I used to go there
3 - 4 times each winter. I've never caught a burb there ??

I have a friend with a cottage on Jackfish so I fish there a ton. I asked her about burbs and she said that she's never seen one caught but heard they are there.
I've fished well after dark in summer and a few times this winter and haven't caught one..... but who knows, maybe later in the year?

never heard of burbot in the smaller lakes like jackfish. are you planning on eating one or just want to get it off your bucket list? the nsr has lots and i caught this guy at wab on new years day

Me and a friend used to catch walleye and burbot all night long on Jackfish lake. Glow jigs and minnows.
