I was pretty picky about the options I wanted on a new Ford FX4 and ended up buying from Maclin in Calgary. No problems yet but want to know from Forum members which Edmonton area Ford dealer has the best service department.

I have been to DK in Leduc, Koch in south Edmonton and Freedom Ford on 75th Street. Hands down Freedom Ford. Jessica was the advisor. I actually called the service manager afterward and told him how great a job she/they did. THats a stretch usually for me.

Live in the west end so it looks like Waterloo will get a try. Thanks for the input.

I agree on Waterloo, I had my truck blow its injectors at 162,000kms with the warranty expiring at 160. The truck was in Whitecourt and they towed it all the way back to their show and put a whole new motor in it (so I was told). Ran great and they even got me a rental and set everything up. No cost out of pocket and I would definately recommend them.

I don't know about the service department at freedom ford but if its any thing like Paul and Dan Gillewich from sales it will be epic
No bs just a price on a truck that wasn't beat by anyone ever after negotiating with other dealers

I'm pretty happy with my deal, FX4 Supercrew MSRP $50000, got it at 33000
or 66% of MSRP.

Vegreville if out of town.
Huh? Must treat out of town clients better than local! Used to be best hands down but in the last 10 years they went way downhill!

Bought mine, a 2012 at the end of September. After checking around Edmonton I found an ad online for Metro Ford in Calgary. They were advertising a new 2012 F150 FX4 SuperCrew 6.5FT box MSRP 48800 for 32250. That was their AD price before any dealing. This price included the Costco discount, so if you add the $300 adm fee and the GST it was $34177 all included. The Calgary dealers I found were a lot easier to deal with than the Edmonton ones. I worked a deal with Maclin because they had a truck that had only what I wanted for options, not a bunch of extras I didn't need. I used the Metro ad price as my base negotiation price.
