peppers lake

I was wondering if anyone has been out to peppers this summer. how has the fishing been any size out there?

My son went out last weekend with some buddies and camped (and I suspect had some brews too, lol)

The fishing was decent he said, as usual it was mostly sightfishing with nymphs. The biggest fish they caught was 16 inches.

Something tells me this is not the peppers lake north of Hinton.

That one is darn pretty but only six feet deep.:(

They usually stock it by mid june, so any day now

This is not the one near Hinton. I talked to a CO in 429 yesterday he told me it should be stocked by the weekend.
