I remember seeing something about a lake in the national park that was originally a town that they flooded. Now you could scuba dive and see the underwater buildings.
Am I imagining things or does this actually exist?

Yes. Lake Minnewanka.

Only now, there is nothing but foundations and old road beds. There are two dams underwater too. One from the early 1900's, and then another, taller one from the 1940's. All of it is underwater.

Hey AD:

Is there still anything left on that "ice aircraft carrier" in Pyramid Lake?

Project Habakuk.

I've never dove on it, but I understand it's badly deteriorated. It's on the edge of a steep slope, and much of it has slid down. Only lumber and piping are really all that remains.
