has anyone been at Wabamun lately ?,
wondering how the fishing is, thinking of heading there this weekend.

was there a few weeks ago. fishing was good. just trolled pretty quickly with big red devils and got some decent pike. game warden was there too. went through our boat, checked licenses, etc.

I go to Wabamun if I want a guarantee!

Fishing there is always good....you can fish off the pier next to the boat launch right in Wabamun if you want.

I was waiting for my brother and Nephew to show up to go in the boat, so I thought I'd cast a couple while I was waiting, third cast I got a 30" pike (approx).

When we went out we lost track.

Also went with my wife the weekend after and were catching at the same time.

Five 'O' Diamonds seems to be what their "trained" for!
