Is the fishing still a little tough due to the high water?

What about the local trout ponds? where would you recommend taking the aging old man for fathers day?

lots of little trout ponds around hasse is a good lake to hit lots of perch and rainbows. try a pickeral rig with worms or marshmallows for trout, and a slip bobber and little jig head with a minnow for perch.
