Just curious what everyone uses for a brand and Flasher or Sonar.

Feel free to say what model and why.

Lowrance HDS-5 and Lowrance LMS 337 also have a Humminbird 718 rigged. All will work in my boat HDS-8 and 10 to big to haul around. They also have GPS:)

Hummingbird Ice-45. Works good but first one so nothing to compare too. Little tough to get the bottom 1.5 feet separation in water deeper than 80'

Lowrance X67C. Never had any issues, fish from 4' to 100'. Can lock on to anywhere in the water column in seconds. Easy to use and also can be used all year.

No complaints with my lx-7 so far. It's awesome :)

I put serious consideration into the LX-7 but ended up with a LX-5 .... The auto depth is the only thing I would have like on the LX-7 over the LX-5.... Cool unit though.

Everything I use now is Raymarine, had Lowrance before and in my opinion the ease of use of the Raymarine kicks the Lowrance's butt. Even the Furuno unit my Dad has in his boat seems a heck of a lot more complicated to run than my Raymarine. Great sonar and GPS/Radar overlay as well. Whenever I buy a system now it will always be Raymarine.

I am using a humminbird ice 45 for ice fishing and also an older zercom flasher when I head out with someone who doesn't own a flasher.

On my boat I am running a lowrance hds 8 on the dash and small older color lowrance unit on the bow.

Hopefully in the near future I can get my boat swapped over to a tiller rig and move the hds 8 to the back and upgrade to a bigger screen on the bow.

Hey David sorry should have specified I was meaning ice fishing.
