well finally got to get out on the trails, still a little early in the south as there are still quite a few bucks running around with there antlers still stuck on there head. Managed to find a couple nice ones though gonna go out again on sunday to see if i can find some more

Well done, I have been out a couple times on the ski's and nothing yet, the snow is deep here though. All the Bucks i have seen or bumped up still are carrying both sides.

Found a couple of sheds last couple of days, still lots of bucks carrying.

put on lots of miles yesterday lots of potential spots in the next few weeks that should have some antlers but did manage to find a good one, should be around the 160 mark if the other side is the same hopefully i can find it! i took some great pics as i had my parents and a friend out as well only to realize later i had no memory card in the camera...oops. still early here dont though usually dont start going till the end of feb but with the nice weather decided to have a look. picked up six in total over the week not bad for january, now its back to work up north so will have to wait till i get back..

these are off a buck that i had some close encounters with over the years just never got an arrow in. i did have him at 10yds the yr he broke his antler off but let him go. he disapeared last yr so i dont know what happend to him, but its nice to see his gene pool is still out there, the antler i picked up this sunday is probably one of his offspring as the antlers are almost identical except for the smaller brow tines. the last set of matching sheds i picked up of this deer go 175 rough.

How would we go about getting a new thread dedicated to shed hunting i think it would be great to see all our shed hunting adventures have their own thread so they dont get lost in all the other hunting threads! I would love to see a shed hunting specific thread would anyone else like to see one?
