White NL Coyotes

Very interesting that there is now a supposed gene causing White Coyotes.

"National Geographic is highlighting what appears to be a unique Newfoundland phenomenon - white coyotes".

Would this give them a higher dollar value?

6 out of 6000 ? Lot of natural variation coyote coloring and I wouldn't get too excited. :D

The picture in the article is just a regular coyote??? I'm guessing the 'white' ones must look different. Otherwise I'd say they been drinking to much Screech

I am from newfoundland and I know what stuff is worth there NL coyotes are worth half of what an alberta coyote is worth houses are worth less how do I know because I'm trying to sell one there

Hey, we've got just as much snow and way more coyotes. I'll bet you could find one closer to home. On my personal quest to find really light colored one for a mount. :D

I know a guy from southern Alberta just shot a completely white albino coyote. It's on "Terminal Impact" Facebook page. Looks pretty interesting.

From newfie as well and I didnt much like reading your comment either(pointer) , ive taken newfoundland yotes bigger but not easy to hunt ive not seen a white one but would love to get one happy hunting all

I'm from the Rock as well..Some people don't realize the interpretation of a broad statement..Back to the story though..BS maybe but if National Geographic sees the importance of following the adaptation of these dog to the Rock, I'll buy in...If the white gene has in fact been obtained through Breeding with a Golden Retriever, it will be interesting to follow...
