Was talking to a guy who said he caught a couple almost keeper pike at pigeon, I thought holy crap how big we're they! He said probably around 4 lbs just under legal.... Reminded him the size limit is 100cm and not 63cm like is it many other places.....
Doh!

Thee are some pig pike in there , not sure why anyone would want to. Keep a 100 cm long pike other than to get a mount .

Because 6 lbs of meat goes farther for a family of 6 than 1lb of meat? Especially if you can only keep one fish. But i see what your getting at...:)

We've got a lake down south that went to the 1 over 100cm to as well. Kind of self defeating if you ask me but still better than 3 over 63cm. Another lake went to 1 over 63cm. I like that better for those who retain their catch.

Agreed on both points. Here's one I caught last season.
