Sherbourne(grassy reservoir) by town of grassy. Straight out from boat launch, find 25-30 fow and use small to extra small jigs, tipped with small minnows or berkleys maggots. Use slip bobber or clip on bobber with 6 or 8 pound test line. Have ur bait about 1 foot off bottom, shud get you into some perch! Goodluck!

Are there still perch in Henderson Lake? I used to catch them in the early 80s when I was growing up there.

There are still perch in henderson, but not a lot.

Perch in Nic too, but they are all stunted or dont survive long enough to get decent size.

So is Sherburne just good for ice fishing or does it work in summertime as well? Keep in mind i'd have to fish on shore as i don't have a boat.
