Went to fire up the humminbird ice 45 the other day and its not working. The depth display is freezing and no light bars on the display are showing up. You can hear beeping when turning the dials but nothing changes. Does anyone service hummingbird in Alberta? Any idea what could be wrong? It doesn't have a lot of hours but humminbirds crap warranty is only a year I think.

Battery OK? Transducer OK?
Know anyone you could get to swap them out with?

Battery is good. I tried it with the battery out of my camera and it was doing the same thing. The display is freezing and showing the digital depth display even when I turn the power off.

Try it in the how it works mode, or display mode. Push and hold the sensitivity button and turn it on to the first setting. your gain should set about 30. It should fire up in the display mode showing you how it works. If it does not then you realy need to take it in.
