hey guys anyone fish this lake early spring? heading there in the morning any idea where i should start looking for spawning Wallys thanks in advance

Personally I would not fish when the fish are spawning. The walleye spawn in the creeks. I think the creeks are off limits this time of year.

Fishing was poor not a bite very windy and dirty

Fishing was horrible today but it beats the heck out of work. 2 jack's and a bite but that was it, made it to the mission but it was a hell of a ride, I'm sore in places I didn't know exsisted. I feel like I was beaten by a very larg man:lol

Going to Bistcho next weekend so I hope things are better up there8)

Ditto on the rough ride TMac. Windy as heck out there today. Maidon voyage on the new barge today. Didnt get a chance to fish though as the new rig had a couple of bugs that need to be worked out>: (Bad Transducer). I wanna go out tommorow and try again. I'll dress a little warmer. :eek

To get to the mission from the launch turn to the right a bit and head stright across, you can see the buildings from shore.

that fancy boat should just take you to the fish hey topwater? how was the ride anyways? I wanna go tiller again Im selling mine in the fall I think! what r u guys doin for maylong? Perhaps a circular lake for 10-15lb walleyes lol.crestliner

The lake sure was rough we caught 1 hammer handle not much fun out there never headed accross lake way to windy would not have been a very nice ride over, and even worse coming back

Was anyone else out last night. Great night, warm, calm, yet only managed a couple of hammer handles. But it was like a maze out there. Nets all over the place. So my question is, does anyone know how long they net these lakes in the spring? I would like to get out their again this weekend, but if all the nets are still out, i think i will pass.
