Does anyone have an approximation of the dates for big game? Someone said they all start on Sept 17 for rifle, every year from now on.

It depends on the zone, but foe the most part they have standardized opening day as the 1st, 8th, 17th, 24th etc, instead of the first Monday after whatever.

It depends on the species, and the particular WMU. It can be August for sheep in some areas, to November for other species in other areas.
