won 5 bucks on the superbowl so to celebrate i popped down to river for a quickie. startled a whitetail doe on the trail, and also walked up on her at the end of my session. haven't seen a deer down there before. got there around 5 pm and the river looked like a calm lake. got my first wallie in 1/2 an hour and by 7:30 had landed 4. 2 were in the 20" range and chunky.
