Gull Lake help

I'm wondering what is the best access onto Gull lake. looking to do some ice fishing this weekend and have never been there. Directions from highway 2 would be extremely helpful.
Also how thick is the ice, I want to know if I should be driving my truck on it.

Easiest way off of Hwy 2 is to exit off at Hwy 12 ( Bentley ) follow Hwy 12 till you see the sign for Brownlows (just after the S curves) Drive straight on to the Lake from there and pick a spot out in the Tent/Shack City.

Thanks for the info, we had a great day out on the lake. 3 of us caught our limit on whites and perch within a couple hours. Once we maxed out we started pulling up some jacks. Everything started to die down around 1pm
