Canadian Whitetail TV Giant

Hi all,
Here a picture of the buck we had called Droppy. We we're fortunate enough to film and watch this buck dating back to 2008, and for the last 2 years I had the honour of hunting him. On Oct 6th 2012, it all finally came together in the late afternoon, when I was able to take him with my bow, marking the end of a legend for us, and the best whitetail footage we have captured to date. He has a 200" typical 5x5 mainframe, and after adding on the abnormals, comes in well over 230" nontypical, but numbers are just that... Numbers, and I've never been to into scores. Regardless of if he was 130", or 250", it is a hunt I will never forget, and we feel priviliged to be able to share this incredible old buck with all our viewers. It was truely a bittersweet day that we got him. Excitment, but remorse. I sure miss hunting the old boy, and still feel sad everytime we check trail cameras knowing he will not be there.

It really was something to watch him the last few years, and have the oppertunity to hunt him. To me, he sure is unique. Alot of people that heard what he had scored, had expected a gnarly non-typ, not a 200" 5x5 typical frame.

We can't wait to air this hunt and share the footage and pictures of him from 2008 until now with everyone.

CWTV starts airing the third quarter, so will kick off in July :) Season III intro is just about all polished up, will share when I can.

Saw him on the cover of NAW magazine when I was in Tulsa doing consulting for our company. Told the guys that deer came from my part of the world. They are all being real nice lately hoping for an invite. Did not have the heart to tell them they are not all that big.
