Anyone ever fished in Arizona?

In March I'm taking my family to Scotsdale Arizona for a couple weeks and for the first time in years I'm going to have a couple weeks of free time. Wondering if anyone has ever fished down there? There's supposed to be some decent trout, bass and catfish. Wouldn't really even know where to go or how to rig it up.

Didnt catch anything, but last year I went fishing with a guy from there, we used about a #4 hook, and gob'd on as much chicken liver as the hook would hold. I saw some guys that had a couple of blue gills they caught using the same size hook filled with dew worms.
