Ice conditions at Waiu lake

I'm at Christina Lake right now and there's too much flood water to safely walk on. I was wondering if there was good enough ice at Waiu or if I'm hooped.

Lots of ice but there is also lots of water on top of the ice! Plus the fishing isnt very hot these days:sign0176:

Need to wait till things freeze up a big way to much flood water on some of lakes in the area.

It sucked really badly fishing it today, we could not move anywhere we walked we ended up with a trail of slush. I have never been more greatful for being born without legs because today my shoes froze solid and my pants also froze solid if I had legs and feet they'd of had to be amputated. Pure and simple guys wait a few days or get some snowshoes because fishing due to the warm temperatures sucks.
