My 2012 Mule deer with pics

Thought I would post a pic of my mule deer as well. I was hunting in southern Alberta for 2.5 days during that early november blizzard when I harvested this deer on saturday. It was -23C and the wind was blowing 40-50 kms/hr. Funny thing was I did not see any other hunter that saturday lol. By the time I took pics, gutted and started to cape and skin the deer the ears and legs were already freezing. I was up to my butt in spots in drifted snow on some of the coulee edges.

Yeah, I would have to agree. 3.5 days of hunting and I harvested a 204" whitetail and a 180" mule deer 500 km's apart. Sad thing is I missed about a 220" mule deer on my first day because I failed to notice that where I had my new scope mounted at they forgot to tighten the windage screw down on the left side. I knew I should have mounted it myself but I had a very short time shedule. Seen anther 2 deer that would have been in the 200" range but lost them in the near whiteout conditions the day before. Jumped this one at 200 yards and dropped him running flat out broadside with one shot.
