Does anyone know if there is a bait ban on the crawling valley fish derby?

Check your regulations. If there is a bait ban listed in the regulations then they apply to any fishing derby as well.

there is no bait ban on CVR, But the Derby might have a bait ban.

I realize that but you can use bait at lake newel and they just had a derby with a no bait rule.

Last i heard theres no bait ban at CVR derby but give it 10 minutes and that could change......
