Excuse the ignorance as I've never gotten anything worthy of hanging on the wall... So it looks like you got it in velvet but it's hard antler when mounted. Does it just fall off naturally or is it somehow processed to get rid of the velvet? Do people ever leave it on a mount?

Really Okie? You really make me wonder why your on an outdoorsman forum sometimes. For a guy that spends his time on here all day I didn't expect a question like that. lol Thanks for the laugh today, it made my day.

...velvet antlers dry out over time....

All the velvets still there just changed color from hanging upside down to drain blood from live horn

They can be injected to save velvet I've done a lot of velvet antlers with no problem
