Do you remove the fat/blood line or the pin bones?
What is your preffered cooking method?

Hey Mike . the fat i leave on now... more Omega oil in the fat than anywhere else and i am cooking plain now as i don,t want to drop the omega level in the fish .. its the best in Whitefish and helps in lots of ways .. i am using it to get my total cholesterol level down..
when i cook i will take out pin bone as these are too big of lake whitefish also as you can see i left some ribs on and each fish has a piece of skin on for Id
someone posted on the benifits of Omega oils on one of my posts.. will look for

David:)

You're a fishing machine!

FYI most freshwater fish are quite low in omega 3's. 2 exceptions are Lake trout and Whitefish. By the number of whites you catch you certainly have access to a good supply of them. You do need to make sure you eat that fat around the lateral line and belly though. (http://www.seagrant.umn.edu/fisheries/fish_oil)

Again you’re a fishing machine.
