ice fishing derby?

so was planning on going to crawling valley derby but cant make it so need my derby fix is there any ice fishing derbies after that weekend by any chance cant find any on internet so thought you guys/gals might know. does not matter what lake just would like it to be no further than red deer and some where we can just show up and not have to pre order tickets.

have not gone yet dads work schedule is unpredictable. does anyone know for sure on buying the tickets at the lake dad would not be happy if we get there and ind out we cant fish may just email them

If you cant get tickets you can still fish, but I think they will have tickets left.

This seems shady. Makes me wonder what rules they are going to spring on people at the time of the Derby. I hope they would not bust out a bait ban, as I imagine EVERYONE will have $30 in herring and smelts and would be quite mad if they could not use them.

One would think a lot of back peddaling would be done on a bait ban after the results of Newell last weekend.
