ya its pretty nice to fish open water, i was up at spray on tuesday and there is lots of open water, thats if you want to cast into it

Awesome. Are you able to divulge on the location of the open water you were catching the pike at? Or is it lake x? I completely understand if you want to keep it secret.

lake x for this one :) but there are a few spots like pine coulee and lower k that stay open water all year, you just have to check the regs to see if they are open for fishing when you want to go
