Attempted at getting on the lake a few weeks ago with a f150 and it was impossible. Lots of snow up there. So we didn't even fish it. Hopefully someone else could help you out though.

Try back roads on the upper west side. You still have to walk 100 meters to get to the lake.

Think this year is out of the question unless you have a sled, plane, or other tracked snow machine. Might be able in a month or so when 1/2 the snow has melted.
